Community Outreach Programs
The main aim of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences is to produce allied health professionals complete of necessary knowledge and skills. However, it is also the belief of FAHS that allied health professionals should possess enough sensitivity to deliver patient care humanely. For this purpose, it is important that undergraduates are exposed to interventions of community support. The Faculty therefore considers it an important responsibility to organize and engage in community outreach programs, setting a good example for undergraduates to follow. In addition to the many community services extended, a special committee has now been established among FAHS academics to expedite this mission.
