Prof. D.I. Ulluwaduge (B.Sc. Special in Human Biology, Biochemistry specialization, PhD in Biochemistry) is an alumni of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She joined the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2008 as a pioneer member of the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and later served as the founder Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and the Department of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. She was promoted to Professor in Biochemistry in 2019 and was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health sciences in 2023.
