The premier issue of the Journal of Health Sciences and Innovative Research was launched on the 31st of December 2020. This is a peer-reviewed journal published annually by the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
The journal aims to promote and disseminate original and innovative health related research beneficial for health professionals in all disciplines of the healthcare system and the public. The editorial board led by Dr. Dilanthi Herath includes both local and international experts in different fields of health sciences, and applies a fair but strict policy when selecting articles.
