B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. MLS graduates who passed out from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences volunteered in conducting PCR tests for staff members and students of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura at the Family Practice Centre during August 2021 of the COVID-19 outbreak. Ms. Shanika Hansani Kumari Panagoda, Mr. Thilan Dinusha Wimalaweera, Mr. Herath Mudiyanselage Lahiru Prabath Madusanka Bandara, Mr. Ranehi Purayalage Sumudu Ashan Thilakarathne, and Ms. Ponsuge Rajika Madushani Sigera were among those who volunteered for this good cause.
