The Research Committee of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, USJ in collaboration with the General Research Committee, Section A and Committee for Popularization of Science of SLAAS (https://www.slaas.lk/) hosted a virtual talk resourced by Emeritus Professor Lakshman Samaranayake, University of Hong Kong on ‘Enhancing the impact of a journal article: Role of authors and reviewers’ on 19th October 2021. The talk was for academics and journal editors on improving the quality of a journal article. Prof. Samaranayake spoke of his vast experience as a journal editor and author of many high impact publications which was very useful especially for the Editorial Board Members of the Journal of Health Sciences and Innovative Research, the official journal of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
