The General Research Committee (GRC), Section A, and Committee for Popularization of Science (CPS) of Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLASS) in collaboration with the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences organized a webinar on scientific writing and publishing on 28th May 2021 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon via zoom for undergraduates of FAHS. The objective of this webinar was to improve undergraduate skills in writing scientific manuscripts and publishing research findings in reputed journals.
The webinar was organized by Dr. Prasanthi Ilankoon, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Nursing and Midwifery (member of GRC) and Dr. Kasuni Akalanka, Head/ Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Basic Sciences (member of SLASS Section A/ CPS) in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Dr. Hemali Jayakody, Consultant Community Physician, Family Health Bureau, and Dr. Dushyanthi Jayawardena, Senior Lecturer, Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo resourced the webinar.
