Ethno-medicines for sustainable health solutions in the community – Prof. Wijayabandara speaks to the international community

Prof. Jayantha Wiajaybandara, Professor in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura was recently invited to deliver a speech on ‘Ethnomedicine Inspired Drug Development – Issues and Challenges’ at the 8^th International Congress of the Society for Ethnopharmacology, India (SFEC 2021) held on a virtual platform at Pune College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra, India, from August 27-29, 2021. His research interests in ethno-medicines and the opportunities for sustainable health solutions through drug development based on ethno-pharmacoloigcal knowledge was shared at this forum.
