The planting programme “කැපකරු රුක් රෝපණ වැඩසටහන” was launched by the Public Outreach & Social Responsibility Committee of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (POSRC-FAHS) on 29 th September 2022 at the Dept. of Pharmacy &
Pharmaceutical Sciences with the presence of Prof. M.D.J Wijayabandara, Dean (Acting) of the faculty, and about 20 academic and non-academic staff members. The programme was launched under the tagline “Plant a memory, plant a tree, do it today for tomorrow” and aimed to promote the concept of taking care of your own plant in the work room to help produce the air that you breathe in.
