Dr. Ranga Disssanayake, Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Allied Sciences, won the NSF Research Awards 2017 for Scientific Excellence in the field of ‘Environment and Biodiversity’ under the NSF Competitive Research Grants Scheme for his contribution in the project ‘Isolation of antimicrobial compounds from endophytic fungi of endemic flora of Sri Lanka’ and the ceremony was held on 18th December 2019 at the BMICH.
